Arvus Lighter WIP part 2

Here is an pic update on this project. Mostly adding detail and bits.

Originally, I planed on the back hatch being surface detail, but I have committed to making a magnetized door that will drop down as a ramp.

Comments appreciated!

  1. It looks superb to me, and very slickly done - lots of texture and detail and smooth integration of parts.

    1. Thank you very much! I love how this has turned out. However, there are a few "problem" areas that aren't visible in the pics (deliberately :) !) that I will probably have to resort to using putty.

I am basically done with everything else, and will post a final pic with some additional WIP shots very soon.

    2. That sounds like a feast. That seems a fair approach to problem areas too - as long as we see the trouble and feel the pain of it enough to push ourselves to get better, they don't necessarily need to be shown off in all their gory detail..!

  2. Looks very nice. It stays true to the majority of design ideas in the Arvus, but adds some more too.
    Well done.
I scratchbuilt one myself a while back, but i made mine bigger than the standard one(It's about 2ft long).
