Kilty by Association is a 7-piece Celtic/Folk/Punk band based in Portland, Oregon. They write and play their own music, play popular folk and Celtic traditionals. The band formed in 2009 as a 3-piece, and I joined in June 2012. We released our album in 2016. I designed the band logo, all of our event posters, and the packaging to our CD. Due to the founder and another member leaving the group, Kilty by Association disbanded in early 2017.

In July 2015, myself, a member of Kilty by Accosiation, the 2 founders of Melt, and the minister performed "I Melt with You" for our mutual friends' wedding. Later on that year the band Melt was formed. On November 1, 2015, I played at their first show. Currently Melt is a 4-piece eclectic rock band. Their style ranges from haunted gypsy rock to funk.

The remaining members of Kilty by Association started a new eclectic rock group called The Mean Highs (A mean high water mark is the average of all the high water heights observed over a period of several years). We practiced for about 6 months in 2017 before disbanding after a core member left the band.
