Back on the Bench. But since taking the picture, I received the eBay bitz I was waiting for.
Using some
Poster Putty (actually any brand tacky putty works), I added the remaining bitz. However, I'm not happy with the placement of the smoke launchers, and I'm not sure what to do.

I'm also not sure about the door handles. I may draw/paint them on instead of adding a bit (what you see in the pic is a handle from a Land Speeder Storm). If I can fit it on, I will add an Aquillia hood ornament too.

I think the smoke launchers you need are the smaller 2nd Edition (I think) Smoke Launchers. As I said, they're smaller, so the isn't much restrcition on where they're placed.
ReplyDeleteI've always put my Smoke Launchers near the front, as it akes sense that you want to protect the front of the vehicle most.
I think those handles work well wit the Car. I can't think of any alternate pieces that are smaller and would look right on it.
I have one question about your Counts As. What do you do about the Rear door of the Rhino? becuase the car clearly doesn't have a rear door.
Thanks for the input! I already completed the models, but haven't gotten around to posting them yet. I used the handles on the hood and I did put the smoke launchers in the same place as pictured above.
ReplyDeleteAbout the rear door... I only play 40k with my gaming group (*IF* I were to play! :P ). For something like this they would not make a fuss. But if I were pressed to make an excuse, than I would say the rear roof section is the rear egress point.
